Overview

Shark Shootout Charities is excited to host the 3rd annual Franklin Templeton Shootout 5K. The Shootout is Southwest Florida's only PGA TOUR event and is hosted by World Golf Hall of Famer, Greg Norman. The 5K will commence on Saturday morning of the Shootout and finish prior to the start of tournament play. Participants will compete on a self-contained course within the Tiburón Golf Club community. Proceeds from the race will benefit CureSearch for Children's Cancer.

Date:	Saturday, December 10, 2011
Location:	Tiburón Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples
Course:	Interior roads of Tiburón residential development. Map (PDF) \| Flyover (Google Earth)
Schedule:	Registration: 6:00 - 6:45 am Start Time: 7:00 am (Sunrise - 6:58 am) Finish Time: No later than 8:15am
Fees:	Pre-Registration: $25* Day of Race: $30* Students (18 and under): $10* * Includes one (1) daily grounds ticket to the Shootout (must be 17 or older to receive ticket - 16 and under receive complimentary Shootout admission)
Parking:	Complimentary parking will be located at the Shootout’s general spectator lot at the intersection of Airport‐Pulling & Orange Blossom Rd; 1/4 mile from Tiburon Golf Club. Shuttles will be provided to event location. Bag/personal item check will be available on site. Course will close at 8:15am.
Packet Pickup:	Naples On The Run - 2116 9th St. N. Thursday, Dec. 8th & Friday, Dec. 9th: 11am - 5pm or race day 5:45am @ race site. For orders received after Wednesday, December 7th, packet pickup is available on race day at 5:45 am at the race site. All participants must pick up their timing chip on race day.
Charity:	Proceeds to benefit CureSearch for Children's Cancer.
Awards & Age Groups:	Overall Male & Female, Masters, Grandmasters & 3-deep in all age groups. Male & Female - 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over.
