Mike "Ziggy" Zeigler took up golf at the age of four. Although golf was his life, Zeigler admits that his inability to sink putts made it tough to make a living as a Tour Professional. When his wife and brother suggested he try long drive competition, Zeigler gave it a shot and has never looked back. The Long Drive Champion now boasts a non-competitive longest drive of 504 yards. When he's not practicing or competing, Zeigler spends his time performing at corporate, celebrity, and charity events. He's done shows for Vince Gill & Amy Grant, Birdies for the Brave, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, the American Heart Association, and the American Cancer Society, to name a few.
When asked about his career as a long ball hitter, Zeigler commented, "I love traveling and working with people. Through clinics, performances and long drive competition, I have the opportunity to bring golf into people's lives."
