"I'm ready to hit a bed in about five minutes," Moore said.
Moore played in the Tommy Bahama Challenge in Scottsdale, Ariz., where he finished second.
Then he boarded a commercial flight at 1:15 (Eastern time) Wednesday morning to come to Naples.
After a connection in Atlanta and very little sleep, he arrived at Southwest Florida International at 8:40 a.m. with just enough time to make his tee time.
"It's hard to not be tired," said Moore, who was a late replacement for Fredrik Jacobson. "But it's golf and I had a cart."
Fortunately for Moore, Shootout organizers bumped him to the back of the pairings.
"This is part of the tournament," he said. "This is why were are in the tournament, to play with all of the people that make it happen. I would be sad to miss it."
