With thousands of resorts to choose from, and less than
two years after it opened, The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples was voted
the fourth best resort in North america by the readers of Conde Nast
Traveler Magazine and received an impressive 90.9 rating. This score
also landed the resort among the world's best at No. 81.
The November issue of Conde Nast Traveler
celebrates the 16th anniversary of the magazine and the annual Reader's
Choice Awards.
"This is a phenomenal recognition that reflects the hard
work of our ladies and gentlemen," said Bradley Cance, general manager for
The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples. "The poll is highly regarded because
it is based on the testimony, experiences and satisfaction of past guests.
It is our goal to provide exceptional guest experiences and we are
delighted to be at the top of this list."
Every year since 1998, a random sampling of Conde Nast
Traveler subscribers have received the "Poll of Consumer Attitudes."
The complete 2003 poll was divided into eight unique questionnaires. No
single poll contained the full complement of questions.
Each candidate was rated on a five-point scale:
excellent, very good, good, fair and poor. Final scores equal the
percentage of excellent and very good marks.
The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, the Golf Resort's sister hotel,
was also on the list with an impressive score of 88.4 and was ranked 14th
on the top 75 list.
Naples is the only city in the world to have two
Ritz-Carlton hotels on the list. Other cities with two Ritz-Carlton hotels
include: Boston, Washington D.C., New York City, Atlanta and Miami.
The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples features 295 guest
rooms with views of the Greg Norman-designed Tiburón Golf Club. Resort
