Franklin Templeton Shootout: An Ace For Our Community | |

Congratulations to all who worked on, played in or went out to watch The Franklin Templeton Shootout at Tiburó n Golf Club in North Naples over the weekend � yet another class act staged by and starring Greg Norman.
We saw some great golf with the team of Jerry Kelly and Rod Pampling besting some of the game's biggest names. There was even a private guest appearance by pop singer Kenny Loggins, who provided the soundtrack for "Caddyshack."
It was a successful inaugural sponsorship from Merrill Lynch, which took over from Franklin Templeton and plans to be with the Shootout next year when it moves to NBC in early December and more live coverage.
Southwest Florida is proud to host the Shootout and other big-time golf events � and is preparing and hoping to host even more.
