Jim Moos Leads Team To Victory, Takes Closest To Pin, Long-Drive Honors
The 2004 Franklin Templeton Shootout activities wrapped up with the annual Volunteer Play-Day supporting Toys for Tots, held on November 29th at
Tiburón Golf Club. Great weather, a terrific venue, and top-shelf
camaraderie seemed to be a recipe for golfing fun.
A tradition of giving, which was born a year ago, offered volunteers an
opportunity to donate unwrapped toys to Toys for Tots. In an overwhelming
show of support, the volunteers of The Franklin Templeton Shootout donated
a multitude of toys for children of all ages.
"Our volunteers are some of the event's strongest supporters and today's
donation to Toys for Tots shows how they embrace every project
whole-heartedly," said Tournament Director, Taylor Ives.
Thanks to all of the hard working and dedicated volunteers who helped to
make this year's Franklin Templeton Shootout such a huge success. Through
their time and effort, the 2004 campaign was able to raise significant
funds and awareness for children's charities, most notably CureSearch
National Childhood Cancer Foundation.
The winners of the Volunteer Play-Day were as follows:
Nearly 200 volunteers help make The Franklin Templeton Shootout a monumental success every year. |
