| 2013 Summer Series Event 1 Recap - Tiburón Black |

The Franklin Templeton Shootout Summer Series got off to a strong start this past Saturday at Tiburón Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples. A sold out field of 100 players competed on Tiburón's Black Course in the first of seven events this year. In the third season of the popular series, which is modeled after the Franklin Templeton Shootout, we are proud to expand from six to seven events - adding Naples Grande to the schedule.
Claiming victory in the gross division was the team of Craig Morton and Rick Radunz who shot 67 and won in a scorecard playoff against newcomers Jay Gargiulo and John Nolan. In the net division, Kyle Benz and Christian Potts recorded a score of 66 for the win in a scorecard playoff over Lu Wilczak and Peter Swift.
As a 1st place prize, the teams of Morton & Radunz and Benz & Potts won complimentary passes to the Franklin Templeton Shootout's Collier Club which is an upgraded hospitality suite located between the 8th & 17th holes on Tiburón's Gold Course. The winners also received Gift Certificates to Shula's Steakhouse and valuable points in the season long competition.

The Summer Series' next stop will be Naples Grande on Saturday, June 22nd at 9:00 am.
