2015 Volunteer Information

The success of The Franklin Templeton Shootout is largely dependant on the support of volunteers. From marshaling to leaderboards, player shuttles to standard bearers, our tournament volunteers do it all with a smile on their face and a spring in their step.

Volunteers of The Franklin Templeton Shootout are an elite group. Not only are they a key element of the only PGA TOUR stop in Southwest Florida, but they are also joining Greg Norman in the fight against childhood cancer.

Volunteer Tournament Package

The Volunteer Tournament Package, costing $60 includes the following:

  • Volunteer Badge*
  • Volunteer Parking Pass
  • Complimentary Breakfast & Lunch on Day(s) You Work
  • Uniform consisting of: Greg Norman Collection jacket, golf shirt and hat.

Each volunteer must purchase the package and wear each uniform component during their assignments. Volunteers are required to wear their own khaki slacks or khaki walking shorts.

*Please note that your volunteer badge will give you access to the tournament on days when you are not working. You won’t have meal privileges when you come as a spectator.

Volunteer Uniform Distribution

Uniform Distribution will take place at Tiburón Golf Club at the time of your scheduled training session on Friday, November 6th.

At the time of distribution, volunteers will be issued their uniforms in the sizes that were indicated on their Volunteer Registration forms. Any volunteer interested in exchanging their issued uniform for a different size may sign up on the exchange list during the distribution days; however, no exchanges will take place until Monday, November 9th.

Extra Uniforms

Following the distribution days, volunteers will be able to purchase any remaining uniform shirts. Anyone interested in making a purchase can sign up on a wait list during the distribution days or at the Volunteer Villa throughout tournament week. If you ordered an extra shirt on your registration form, your order will be available for pick up at uniform distribution.

The price will be $25 for Greg Norman Collection golf shirts. Purchases will be based on availability and a tournament representative will contact you should your name come up. First come, first served.

Volunteer Parking

Parking for all volunteers will once again be located in the General Spectator Parking Lot on Airport Pulling Rd., 1/2 mile south of Tiburón. Your volunteer parking credential will provide you with complimentary access to this lot. Coach bus transportation will be provided to the golf course.

Volunteer Villa

Each volunteer must check-in daily at the Volunteer Villa. After you enter at the Main Gate, take the cart path towards the right to the back of the 18th green. Signs will direct you to the Villa.

Volunteer Meals

Breakfast and lunch will be provided on all days you work. Breakfast will be served each morning at the Volunteer Villa. For lunch on Tues. & Wed., a volunteer leader will take your order when you check in at the Volunteer Villa. Your meal will then be delivered to you by the volunteer transportation team. On Thurs., Fri. & Sat., you will be provided with a lunch voucher that is valid at each concession stand on the golf course.
